Those coins with "notches" may be the 20 ct pieces. Here is an example from France:

The characteristic shape of the edge is called "Spanish flower". It appeared on some (50 pesetas) coins from Spain before ...

    Eurocoins anyone?

    Hi fellow collectors,
I can get you all a set of eurocoins.
The only thing I need in return is my own costs.
Tell me what you guys are interested in (value, circ or unc...) and I will let you know what the price will be.
Of course Vatican, San Marino and Monaco coins are out of range if we talk about normal prices.
Vatican 2003 sets cost about 600 euro nowadays.
Also a few of the difficult countries cost more to get sets from (e.g. Ireland and Finland), the rest should be not so difficult to obtain.
Post a message or e-mail directly with your wishes.

    Regards, and happy collecting,
    Davy (Belgium).

Do you want to see the actual coins, or pictures? ;-) If it's the latter, have a look here:

    http://www.euromuenzeninfo.de/euros/gedenk/gdbelgien.htm
(If you have scripting enabled, wait for the frames to show up; after that, the coins will be displayed.)

On that page you find the Belgian commems issued in 2002; at the bottom there is one in gold. From there you can jump to any other year and/or country. Don't know if there is a site that lists gold commemoratives only ...

    Hi,
As I already posted earlier, I can provide you with most of the euros from the easy countries.
Mail me if you are interested.
I'm also interested in trading euro coins for unc US coins.
    Regards,
    Davy.

    Why is everybody ignoring me?
Or is this a closed group?
If it is, tell me and I'll be gone in a jiff.

Poor you ;-)) Well, I for one did read your posts but I hardly ever swap coins. Maybe there just aren't that many euro swappers in this forum? It is not a "closed" group, though, so feel welcome to post here!
