I found a coin but I have no idea what it is?

    I suspect it's probably either a fake, rubbish or not even a coin, but I don't have a magnifying glass or good eyesight, so I cannot really work out what is on it. Any idea what it is? Is it just a token?

    Its a denarius of Julius Caesar, showing an elephant on one side and priestly implements on the other. It appears to be a modern fake.

    The style is wrong and it looks cast. Here is a photo of a real one.

    Ah, OK. Thak you for your help. I usually collect notes and frame them, just don't know much about coinage :)
