I am new to coin collecting. I had bought a 1974 Canada Winnipeg 100th anniversary silver dollar uncirculated coin at my local antique store in the us. This coin is in a proof case when I bought this coin for $6.50 On the back of this coin I see "B" mint mark on top of this coin and I see "PP' mint mark on the bottom of this coin. Is this coin a double yoke coin?

    Thanks,

    Chris :)

According to the book its worth around what you paid for it, probly a bit less ($5.75)... I'm pretty sure the PP and the B are the designers marks, Paul Pederson and Patrik Brindley. composition: .50 Silver

It's my understanding that the double yoke is only found in the coins made for circulation( though,of course, they never do) and not in the cased proofs.

Since the $6.50 purchase price was in US dollars and the Canuck dollar is worth about 75 cents US, it's worth about the same or a little less than when you bought it.
