    Nice article. That area of the world is where it`s at for archaeology. That said, I`m not hitting anything like that with my Spectra V3i....yet. :)
    I could not even imagine being the person on the team that found that.

    It was published in the last 24 hours but it also seemed to be a clearer article than the ones that came out a week ago. Its a bit unusual to find midevil coins in Israel.

    I always appreciated crusaders and all their hard work in Jerusalem and the area, and now it seems they left a gift before they left? Awesome fellows!

    I think there`s so much under their soil it would be mind blowing as far as the historical impact. But like anywhere else You have two problems....Areas that have been built upon, and getting permission to excavate. Several teams have been denied access to sites they believe would be fruitful in Israel....nothing new. The P.A. has put the clamps on proposed excavations in various spots in Jerusalem alone. (for fear of disproving/contesting the Koran with artifacts)
