Guess the NGC Grade on this 82-S Morgan...

    What is your grade and what do you think NGC gave it? Grade will be revealed after a few guesses...by the way, this is not my coin!

    No major hits that I can see , nice coin MS-65 .

    I guess they don't consider Libertys' neck a prime focal area :eek: at NGC .

    Holy crap. I don't think I've ever seen an MS67 Morgan.

    HAHa I was way off. Really nice coin though.

    Possibly, but this seller is a very reputable seller. They have a former PCGS grader on staff. I think this is a better coin in hand, not a 67, but probably the pic just over embellishes the contact marks.

    You're right on that. I was going to say it looked overgraded, but I didn't want to be that guy.

    it look like a 64 maybe a 65 way over graded they miss that one. it must have been beerthirty there that day lol:)

    It is a very nice coin, but if it's a 67 I'll eat my hat. There's no way from those pictures it would even make 65.

    I grade the coin, not the holder, and that is not a 67. (IMHO) My call would be 63 tops.
