Hi everyone! I have been collecting coins for 50 years. Back in the day, my dad would take us to the bank and get rolls of coins to search. That was back in the Wild West days of coin collecting and a person could find lots of good finds in those coin rolls. Not so much anymore!

I have bought and sold coins over the years buy I have yet to find a really good source for buying coins. I have tried coin dealers, pawn shops, rolls of coins, ebay, etc. Is there a secret place that I haven't been told about to find good deals on coins or is it just that I have to go to these places and look for hidden values? I guess with the advent of the internet it has just gotten harder and harder to find stuff and you just don't know who you can trust anymore.

It's the same with eBay. I have tried to find places to buy stuff to resell but it just isn't that easy anymore. You see auctions for tons of unsearched coins but I have a sneaky suspicion that they are NOT really unseaarched!

Does anyone have any suggestions on where a person can find good deals on coins and other collectibles?

There are a few places where you can expect to pay a little less, and other places where you'll no doubt pay too much, but I don't know of any one place that consistently has what I would consider good deals on coins. The simple reason being people would buy them out and sell them elsewhere.

Most of the good deals I've found, were deals I had to hunt for.

The one exception of course is for dealers. Good deals come walking in through their door every day. ;)
