Gold Nickel

    We received a 1999 Gold Plated Nickel with Jefferson's profile on one side, Monticello on the other...anyone know anything about these?

    It's probably one of a set sold on late nite TV or QVC. Gold plated quarters were "big" for a while too.

    Its true value is in the range of 5-6 cents, but someone likely paid $5-10 for it.
