Update: this giveaway is now CLOSED. The winner was announced here.

This is Round 10 in my Giveaway #78. It is open for entries over the next 24 hours, and then we'll have a random drawing and move on to the next coin, which will also be an ancient.

All you need to do to enter is to say you want it (over on the giveaway thread), and a word or two about why you like it.

Alternately, you may enter on someone else's behalf if you don't want it for yourself. Merely name the person you'd like to have it.

I’m in—not for myself, for my student who is studying Roman history (gladiators) for a major research project. He'd be delighted.

By all means! But post over in the giveaway thread, pretty please, so your entry doesn’t get missed in the drawing.

I thought this was the giveaway thread?

Nope, sorry for the confusion. This is merely an announcement thread. Entries have to be posted on the main giveaway thread because the random drawings are done via random number generator, based on the post numbers in that thread.

Here's the round with that coin. All you have to do is reply there. :)

    Round 10
