Chris, I suspect that we are by no means contemporaries (age wise) but you seem to have an uncanny ability to dig things up that I grew up with.... And looking back on it (although I didn't know it at the time) I think those guys at Warner Bros. were smokin' some very strange weed....
Indeed they were, esp. Tex Avery and his studio. I grew up with the incessant reruns on afterschool TV of Looney Tunes! And have all the Warner Brothers Golden DVD Collections too!
