hi everyone! went to the flea market yesterday and picked up some stuff. first think i bought was 11 $1 1969D uncirculated sequal serial number bills H61054890B-H61054900B. got these for $17. the only problem is that the lady that sold them had them in a small jar for the past 33 years and had them rolled up. now the bills are bent a little, but not folded. is there any way i can get the bends out? after that i got 2 $1 1935G silver certificates C26415922J and C44108686. these are in BAD shape. no rips, just worn. got them both for $3. then i had a look at the mercury dimes. decided to buy a 1916S, 1923S, 1924D and 1924S, 1925S, 1927D and 1927S, 1928D and 1928S, 1929D and 1929S, and last a 1930S, and a 1931. had some extra money so thought why not get them while they are here? and then i bought the whitman folder that they came in for $3 more. he charged $24 for all those dimes, so i think i got a good deal. the folder i bought for $3 is like a danasco, but its cheaper. the dimes average from good to very good. i also got 2 buffalo nickels i needed, a 1925S and 1928 for $1 each. after that i was done looking at that dealers coins, so off to the next dealer!:hail: at the next dealer i looked through his bargain box, but didn't see anything. i looked around, and didn't really see much i wanted. i asked if he had any wheat cent rolls, and he said he had 18 rolls. i like going through his rolls, becuase he puts in some good stuff sometimes. so i bought all 18 rolls for $2.50 each. i got in the rolls 786 common dates from the 30's 40's and 50's. some of them were still shiny, and i got alot of 1955, still have to check those and the other ones. but i did get 1911(2), 1916(4), 1919(7), 1919S(2), 1917(2), 1917S(2), one 1917D, 1918(3), one 1918D, one 1914, 1920(21), 1929(9), 1929S(6), 1927(3), one 1927D, one 1925, 1928(3), one 1921, 1926(3), one 1923, 1939S(2), one 1930D, one 1938S, one 1934D, 1943(5), 1943S(3), 1943D(2), 1947S(7), 1948S(7), 1949S(2), 1942S(3), one 1954, 1951S(2), and a 1955S. so i got 112 better ones. i also got 3 dateless wheat cents. all in all i think i got some pretty good deals, and had fun talking to the dealers!:eek:hya: and also i got a 1899S barber half for $7, and a 1937S quarter for $4. i will take pictures soon! :)

on unrolling the dollars... Get one of the bill protectors and put them in it. Put it in a book and then stack lots of other books on top of it. in a week or two you won't be able to tell they were ever rolled.

    Nice haul there CoinLover!!

I am heading to a flea market this weekend with only 1 coin dealer. I just got some birthday money, so hopefully I can pick up some nice stuff.

One question: Are the 1916, and 1916S key Mercury Dime Dates? Of course the 1916D is, but I am curious about the other two.

Not keys, those are just the 1916D, 1921 P & D, and the two overdates.
However, the 1916 P & S are considered better dates.
