Is this a high end offset print? Some on Ebay are selling for $26, but Mike Byers has a $2 for $1000, so far everything I find shows the obverse printed on the reverse, while this one has the reverse printed on the obverse. This one also seems to have a really strong offset print. Don't know much about currency, especially pricing. It is crisp uncirculated, belongs to a co-worker who used to work at a large chain store here in Portland in the 1970's and he picked it out of a pack of new $20's. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks! CB
I don't know much abouzt these, but I do lnow trhre a lot of fake errors on ebay. As far as a genuine one is concerned, I imagine that they don't get much nicer than this one.
Sure looks genuine to me. This type of error is also called a "wet ink transfer". Here's a link with a description.
I have seen similar errors on older New Zealand banknotes.I haven't seen any errors with the plastic notes yet.
