I usually buy my coins and currency from Empire Rare Coins out of Scottsdale AZ http://www.empirecoins.net Everything I have bought from them seems to be graded accurately and when I call to place an order they are very polite and professional. I am wondering if anyone else has bought from them and their opinions are.
I take that as you have never bought from them. When I call to put a coin on reserve often it is already sold so they must be doing good business.
I have bought from them, and their awful from my experiences. You are promised one coin, but sent another.
Empire's coins are over graded so they can be sold at a high premium. The coins are photographed in such a way as to hide the flaws. I've had to returned a few. Empire Rare coin co. is only interested in profit only. I also was also disappointed in their low buy prices when I sold some coins to them. Empire always seem to find flaws in my coins so they could buy them cheap. Days or weeks later I would see my same coins on their online inventory with a much higher sell price and without all the flaws they claimed my coins had. I got cheated plain and simple. BEWARE of Empire Rare Coin co.
Beware Of Empire Rare Coin Co. They are only in business for profit not to benefit the collector. I know this from past experiences with them.

I have bought, traded and sold coins from Empire Rare Coins. I was not impressed. In my opinion only, their better coins were too pricey and their trade & buy prices were too low. Also, my opinion only, I found that there were much better coin dealers out there. Just look around, you'll see. This is only my opinion. I'm sure some are happy with Empire Rare Coins. I was not.
I keep getting comments from collectors who are displeased with Empire Rare Coin Co. coins, prices, buys & trades. All I can say it that I have been collecting coins for 45 years & Empire Rare Coin Co. is the worst coin dealer I have ever done business with. That's my own personal opinion. Other collectors who think they may have been duped by Empire Rare Coin Co. will have to post it themselves. Let others know one way or the other.
