Do Currency dealers find it more difficult to get inventory to resell. It seems like every time I list currency on Ebay, people are contacting me trying to work deals off Ebay. They seem to always be to my disadvantage. Most recent I listed an auction for a Hawaii $1. I started it at $30.00, and was asked to pull the listing and sell it for 35.00. It ended up closing at $60.00 Another time I listed about 30 differnt notes, and someone sent me his phone number, wanted me to cancall all the listings and sell to him. I refused, and he never placed even one bid on any of my listings. I dont get many outside proposal with my coins and that is 98% of my listings. It never fails, when I list a note, the sharks come out.
I purchase currency daily, always looking for a good deal but seldom buy from ebay. Fortunately I have met many from coin shows that I contact.
