Tried to send Paddy54 a private message about his mailing address
but don't see a start conversation button there like I usually do. I
hope that he hears that he won. No rush. I'll wait to hear from him
one way or the other. All entries will be kept in case there needs to
    be a redraw.

I'm happy to report that the prize arrived today safe and sound. Again I appreciate the contest as well the prize...again one can Never Have Enough References.!!!
@lordmarcovan you asked about if I ever owned a catalog as such?
Yes in deed years ago I collected World gold coins .
I still have the world catalog of gold coins! Hard cover at the time I purchased it gold was under $500 @ oz.and the catalog cost $150.00. It charts of course these day are out of date...if my memory serves me they topped at $750 @ oz.
However the images and information are still priceless.
Once again many thanks for the book and contest.it will be put to good use...and after Im gone it will be passed on to another collector.

Glad it arrived safely. Post office predicted it would arrive Thursday so kudos to them too. There are five books to the series 1601-1700 / 1701-1800 /
1801-1900 / 1901 - 2000 and 2001-present. There are three paper money catalogs from the same company also called STANDARD CATALOG OF ..... GENERAL ISSUES 1368-1960 / 1961 - PRESENT and SPECIALIZED ISSUES. I recommend all of them but I would much rather pay less than $10 each for an older copy than north of $60 for the most recent edition. When I need current prices I can see the newest one at the library or Barnes & Noble. best regards, harley

Yes it's cracked, but the price reflects that!

Sorry to revive a dead thread. But had to share (maybe we should make a sticky thread of non first party slabs?).
