I got these colorized Sacagawea and Susan B. Anthony dollar coins the other day and I was wondering what they would be worth. The Sacagawea dollars are from the American Historic Society. They come in airtight holders and boxes with COA'S that are labeled 2000 Sacagawea golden dollar in full color and there is info inside the COA about it being three first issue of the series. The Susan dollars come in a foldover plastic container. There are 3 Sacagawea and 3 Susan's. The Sacagawea are from 2000 and the Susan's are from 1999. Sorry about the bad pictures, my camera kinda sucks. Edit - Forum Rules Thanks for any help.
Sorry to say it, but most collectors would consider colorized coins and those gold plated state quarters and such damaged and would pay little to no more than face value for them.
SBA is not a looker to begin with. Why would anyone want to colorize that!? But yeah like everyone said: They are only worth face value.
What you have are not collectible coins in the classic sense; they’re novelties manufactured to remove money from the pockets of those who do not know any better. Considering your recent threads, I respectfully suggest that if you're hoping to make money on coins, you slow down, keep your money in your pocket unless buying books, and learn before you even think of venturing into this as a business.
