Here's a Rhodesia 1964 proof set which I bought by mail from the Rhodesian government in 1964: Rhodesia proof set case (6 x 2-1/4 inches or 15.25 x 5.7 cm) Rhodesia proof set case cover The proof sets were made by the South African Mint in Pretoria. South Africa was one of the few countries which had diplomatic relations with Rhodesia. The coin obverses had Queen Elizabeth II on them. Rhodesia 5 cents 1964 proof Rhodesia 10 cents 1964 proof Rhodesia 20 cents 1964 proof Rhodesia 25 cents 1964 proof
Thanks, I was wondering who SAM was. That’s a really awesome set, WB2- and the fact that you’ve kept it pristine all these years is neat. The case reminds me of the case that the first strikes of Tonga’s first gold coins was in. I knew the man who designed them, and he went into a safe in his home and showed what were literally Tonga’s first coins.
My one and only Rhodesia pc. I saw alot and learned alot just sifting around looking at what all Rhodesia had to offer. I'm sure I will be adding more.
