I'm having a new logo/template website built and need some closeup photos...I'm particularly interested in a closeup shot of an unc buffalo nickel reverse.
Anyone have something like that to share? I'd be grateful :)

I know you said you needed the back but maybe this coin will change your mind like it did mine...I wasn't going to buy it but I gave in
This coin is in a old rattle slab from PCGS at MS63..I was lucky enough to find this one...my first MS Buffalo.

Those are some nice buffaloes! OK- silly question alert! What the heck's a "rattle slab"? Sounds like something you wouldn't want to step on barefoot! :D

Rattle slabs are the old PCGS slabs where the coin could rattle around in the holder and is not always the same direction....in other words it's an OLD PCGS slab and sometimes the old slabs are not graded right and if you send them back it might came back higher. ;)

    Speedy

    PS
I'll try to post a photo of the whole slab

    Here are the photos.
It shows the rattle slab with a PCGS slab like they use today...One thing I didn't say is when you move the slab back and forth it kind of rattles like a baby rattle...ouch...think about that coin in there.

    Speedy

Sorry the photo doesn't show the label on the rattle slab but the plastic is glaring....the newer ones don't glare.

Ok- that's kind of what I thought it was- never heard that term before! Those had to be bad for the coins- can we say rim dings? Thanks for clearing that up!

My pleasure to help out the "Queen"...I didn't want the ax man coming to visit.

Rim Digs is right...I can't be sure though, I've never cracked out one...and this is not going to be cracked out either.

I kinda doubt you could shake the slab hard enough to actually leave a mark on the coin. JMO
