How do you properly store steel cents from the 40’s? What do you do to steel cents that have already started (or worse) to corrode or rust? Over the years, I have watched them disintegrate in my albums. Any advice would be appreciated. Jack
The best thing I would say is to try to keep them in an area with very little moisture and humidity. Silica gel is often used to protect coins against humidity.
