Canadian Coin????

    Does anybody have any IDEA what this coin from canada is,thanks

    It's copper, issued by the Bank of Upper Canada (now the Province of Ontario) before the combination of colonies into what became the Dominion of Canada.

    The obverse is St. George slaying a dragon and the reverse shows the bank's coat of arms. Krause lists it as Tn3, and the 19th Century 3rd Ed. values it at $3 F, $7 VF, $15 XF and $70 Unc.. If there is a dot between the cornucopias on the reverse it is worth about twice as much.

    Depending on the appearance of the back I would estimate its grade as F-VF, and then discount the value 75% because of the hole. :(
