It's copper, issued by the Bank of Upper Canada (now the Province of Ontario) before the combination of colonies into what became the Dominion of Canada. The obverse is St. George slaying a dragon and the reverse shows the bank's coat of arms. Krause lists it as Tn3, and the 19th Century 3rd Ed. values it at $3 F, $7 VF, $15 XF and $70 Unc.. If there is a dot between the cornucopias on the reverse it is worth about twice as much. Depending on the appearance of the back I would estimate its grade as F-VF, and then discount the value 75% because of the hole.
