i was thinking of making my own proof"set" by buying all the none gold coins in a yaer from like 1870-1890 and i have already a 1874 3center nickel proof but the coins of the date a very expensive

i can spend roughly 500-800 per coin
    does anyone have any suggestions

    Jack,

I am working on a type set of proof coins 1859 - 1891. It's hard enough to find affordable early proof type coins, much less early proof coins of a particular date.

ya hobo that a good idea
what ill do is if i can get that paticular date i want for not much more i will get it but if its to much then if will get just a different type

Magman it doesnt have to be any particular date just the cheapest one
