Just got these in the mail today. As I am sure most everyone who ordered did. The obverse of the Unc. seems weak. What do you think?

I got mine about a week ago. I didnt order the unc, so I dont know about it being weak. But i do know that my proof (along with yours) is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love it, and once I find a way to get it out of its capsule, it is going straight into my dansco 7070.

Looks like a strike-through to me.

I took the plastic top off the coin very very carefully not touching the coin itself (though I did try to "move" the "lint" with a stiff paper edge...and nothing moved...it seemed to be part of the coin)

:desk: did I make a huge mistake ?

From the pictures I do not think so, but I could be wrong.

You made a common mistake, never open up the plastic capsules!!! Once you do, lint can enter and be almost impossible to remove!!

It's not uncommon for the lint to be there already when you receive the coin from the mint though.
