Anoother Buffalo to grade?

    I know we've been looking at Buffalos recently but I would appreciate your opinions on this coin. This is my first Buffalo.

    Wow! The Reverse is absolutely gorgeous but there appears to be some wear of the Indian's hair and braids on the Obverse! I think it will go somewhere between EF to AU but probably the latter.

    Very pretty coin. Nicely struck. A bit weak on the buffalo's head, but above average overall. A touch of wear on the high points, so I grade it XF 45+. Nice pickup....Mike

    Conservatively, I would have to say it's EF40. I cannot tell if there is a weakness in the strike or if there's actual wear.

    I think EF would probably be right. Reverse is great. Here's closer picture of the head.

    Those scratches on the obv would knock it down a grade or 2.
