Yup, I scored myself another sweet chick-coin!! (I'm building-up quite a harem) This was the second coin that I snagged from my favourite seller yesterday ... the good ol' two-fer-deal always seems like a great idea (the cost per coin goes down and the mailing costs stay the same) I didn't have this reverse type until now ... I thought that the two infants was a pretty cool/cozy look (I am very happy with both of my new coins) Fausta. Augusta, AE Follis Trier mint Date: 326 AD Diameter: 18.63 mm Weight: 2.71 grams Obverse: FLAV MAX FAVSTA AVG - Draped bust of Fausta right, wearing pearl necklace Reverse: SPES REIPVBLICAE - Fausta standing facing, holding two infants. nice coin stevex, wish i had a fausta to share. the reverse of your is very nice, great details. this is maybe one of the babies? he was already caesar by this time? so is this reverse showing specific children in particular? i couldn't remember who was born when, but when this coin was issued constans was a toddler...and i couldn't find when helena was born. or is it just showing her motherly nature in general?
