    I am particularly crazy about half-drachms/diobols from Thrace Hersonnnes, and Crimean Greek colonies. When i will fugure out how to show pocs i will boast with my beatyis :)

    Mike Marotta is an expert in ancients or an alternative expert depending on which camp you in. Whatever the case he gives a thinking man's viewpoint on the coins. Search for posts made by him and you will have a booklet of information to consider.

    The March 2005 issue of Numismatist magazine will include this:

    I collect ancient Roman coins depicting basically anything related to gladiatorial events, and I also collect ancient coins from Knossos depicting labyrinths on the reverse.

    I dabble in ancient coins, my favorites are the various Legionary denarius.
