Shirley, the best view for coins on a phone camera ive found is take to a window sill and get a image similar to this 1 when the coin almost fills the image (after you attach your pictures you can see a tab beside the image that says full image). as you notice in this photo you can see a lot of details and its natural light so minimal reflection. after you add the picture click the full image button it will post it into your post like mine is. chris
the red colored one tends to look uncirculated. coins taken care of can keep there original mint color and luster. Copper coins when made are red, then turn red brown then turn the dark color of your other coin.

It is amazing how you can take a perfect selfie picture of yourself but you can't get a clear shot of your coin.. Looks like someone cleaned one of the Cents with an abrasive. Most likely Ajax Cleanser. I did the same to my coins ay first when I started collecting over 30 years ago and got that result. Peace
