Hi I got a 20kc Ceska Republika 1993 coin. On the front it has a man on a horse holding a flag and some foreign writing on side of the front. On the back it has a lion with a crown on its head. The coin is gold colored. Does anyone have a idea what is is and what it is worth?

That coin is a coin of the Czech Republic. The Kc is short for Koruna ceska, or Czech Crown. 1 koruna = 100 haleru. koruna are pluralized ad korun.

I'm not sure what the value is but 1993 was the first year they started minting coins as a separate nation after Czechoslovakia peacefully split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Eventually they will probably be using the Euro although I understand there's delays on that.

This could be a nice coin to have later down the road.
