The 2023 nickel I'm asking if this is an error and if not what is it? The 1943 looks like damaged somehow but asking to be sure. Does anyone know what happened to it?

Thank you, hopefully I can do some more roll hunting before returning to work and find some more. BTW I also came across a 1989 P dime with die misalignment in very good shape
I couldn’t give it a full inspection last night. I was checking the site while rocking a toddler to sleep…. On reflection I agree with the gouge, a break would have gon to the rim.
