How many of you got the last American Eagle ,before new design? Spent 2 1/2 hours on phone with customer service checking on status of my auto- enrollment order. Finally they said I'd be notified 1-2 on status.
Thought it was odd as I logged on at 12:10 thinking I'd buy a spare finally at 12:20 got to selection page. Sold out not available.
I think there was some mass robo and/or 3rd spree buying going on? Just guessing but I foresee another apology coming from director (like the 75th anniversary debacle ). I truly hope the mints not letting Robo and 3rd parties manipulate market at the expense of collectors!

Sorry, but I think you are going to see more of this. The US Mint is not interested in the coin collector. The marketing by the US Mint is programmed to make money.

hey David Betts i saw that you have a auto- enrollment order with the USMint. if for some reason your order doesnt come thru, there are lots and lots of online coin stores ready to ship the 2021's. 2021 ASE sell pages.JPG 2021 ASE sell pages.JPG2.JPG

this might be the reason peoples auto orders aren't coming thru, check out the number of 2021's available (8885) circled in yellow.
hope you get yours soon, good luck brother.....

I'm enrolled for them, so a few weeks ago I bumped it up to 3.
And the mint set it back down to 1.
Just for the heck of it I paid for next day delivery. Let's see what happens.

The bigger issue is the proof coin, household limit of 99!

That's what I enrolled in the proof and tried to buy 2nd to no avail but customer service did say they'd investigate why it wasn't processed as I expressed I needed this one to fill out 21 year set

I auto-enrolled and got notification of my order. I guess that's probably the way to go on stuff like this these days.

Being on subscription is great for regular issues. It will not be fun trying to get the ASE's with the new reverse. I am sure they will be limited to the point that the majority will end up with the large dealers.

I haven't dealt with the U.S. Mint since proof sets were in flat paks from PA at $2.10 each...and you had to mail your orders. No "requesting" or "enrolling" was necessary...but you got your order...back when "truth, justice and the American way" ruled. I doubt I'll try, now.

It is a question of priority. Insiders are No. 1, bulk buyers are No 2, and the general public is 10th or 20th. Do we, honestly, believe we are treated fairly? I think a boycott of the ASE's is in order, but this will gain no traction. Just saying...

That's right, that's why right before and after these sales you see companies like MCM, Apmex, CoinVault and the rest of them selling their ASE's to us little guys. They all have an inside track with the US Mint, that's why I stopped buying modern coins years ago. :D If you don't have a subscription with the US Mint, you're screwed.

exactly, which is why I collect coins with historical significance rather than money-making schemes between the government and dealers

First of all, I bet my cat can beat up your cat, then, my cat doesn't know he's a cat. He plays with our 6 dogs. Oh well, back to business.
I don't know if anyone had this same issue, but I had the ASE Proof in my enrollment set. Before the coin was released, I got a message from the Mint that due to the demand on the type 1 ASE, they would not honor my enrollment. I figured that with the quantity the Mint said they would make available, I probably wouldn't have any problem getting one. On the date of the release, my wife had made a commitment for us to be somewhere else. I didn't get home until about 1:30PM. When I was finally able to get to my computer, I signed onto the Mint and there were no ASE type 1 available. The note did say they would probably release some more, so I signed up to be notified of its available. (I've yet to be available when I was notified.) In my infinite wisdom, I thought I would get a Congratulation ASE. No luck in Mudvile ("Casey at the bat."). Same as the ASE. I looked at my Orders and all of my Orders have been deleted, but I had 4 items listed, the price on all was "0". I did get the Van Buren medal. The other 2 were shown as the coins I had signed up in the Enrollment, I took a double take when I saw that the ASE was listed for $73 and was "Shipped". I then looked at my bank account VISA, and sure enough, I was charged $73. It may be premature to be excited before I actually have the coin in my hand.
Anybody else get the ASE in their list of Orders?

I am in the ASE enrollment program and wanted to up my order by one but they wouldn't let me due to the demand for it. I got a notification that my enrollment order was confirmed and figured i'd try ordering one at 12:00 and was surprised when my order went through, guess I was lucky. The enrollment program is the way to go, I wish I was in it last year for the one with the 75 privy
