    Gold high in 2008-$900

    Silver high in 2008-$16.50

With all the industrial uses for silver forecast to increase in the years ahead (nano technology), I think Silver will preform better of the two.

If I had to guess, I'd say silver topping at just over $15 and gold peaking in the first few months of the year near but not in excess of $900 before it takes it's usual summer plunge. I wouldn't be suprised to see gold top $900 in late 08 though.

Since we are guessing, I expect gold to trade above $1000 and silver above $20 in 2008.

Does that mean that PCGS will encapsulate the web page as a mint error?

    WS70 (web state)
    Wrong commemorative error

With so many experts predicting a recession for us soon, it is hard for me to imagine gold continuing to rise at it's current rate. While I don't see it bottoming out like it did after it's previous high, $900 seems unattainable. I'm going to say gold will finish the year around $710, and silver will follow at $15.50.

Well, jeepers, I'll join the fray.

Gold will set a new high shortly, drop back in the spring to the $750 range and then close the year over $1000.

Silver will follow suit, but close around $20.

Spring is the historical yearly low period, so barring any black swan events, it might prove a good time to buy. I'm planning on holding off any significant bullion purchases until mid-May or so -depending on the market.

    peace,

    rono

    how it may look like?.

based on $857.40 per ounce of gold: the mint likely to use these prices.

2008 am eagle gold w unc:
    one ounce: $945.95
    1/2 oz: $484.95
    1/4 oz: $252.50
    1/10 oz.: $112.50

    2008 am eagle gold proof:
    one ounce: $1,004.95
    1/2 oz.: $519.95
    1/4 oz.: $272.50
    1/10 oz.: $129.95

    2008 spouse gold:
    unc: $539.95
    proof $559.95

    2008 commems gold:
    unc: $299.95
    proff:$319.95

p.s. the mint might also based a little higher than gold spot price. said based on $875.00. then all these prices will be adjusted to higher again.

soon the mint will again stop selling 2007 am eagle 1/4 & 1/10 proof gold. also it might stop selling the 2007 am buffalo one ounce gold proof.

    new prediction for 2008

some have predicted that the gold will hit $1,500.00 per ounce this year. and silver might jump faster than gold to $30.00 per ounce. well i also think it will. and hope that it will. so every collector will be in win win situation.
