Just want to see what the opinion is on this 1990P quarter. I know the coin is well used but please looks at the face of Washington. Looks like there is an outline on the forehead and face and the bevels look like they were mis-stamped. I was thinking about getting it graded for my collection. Not planning to try and sell this, it just looks pretty odd and pretty cool. Like I said, it is well but would it be worth it to grade it and does it appear to be an error. There is only one pic of the obverse

    Just a worn Die Strike.

The issue on his face is Mechanical doubling, worthless doubling.

You can get any coin graded. Grading is for the condition of a coin.

For errors and varieties you would send for attribution. You need to pay an extra fee for that. They don't attribute mechanical doubling. Waste of money.

Take Eds advice above. Not worth spending $50.00 or more to slab a worthless coin. If you like it, by all means, keep it.
