Looks like LIBERTY is doubled as well.

    (praise that non cents confirms)

I will take a close up of liberty and post it next.

    I see nothing noteworthy.

Surely the "penny man" will be happy to assist the OP on this one.

Thats either some sort of doubling or the worlds greatest plating issued cent, ever. lol

I think what we are seeing on the date is a trick of the light. I am not seeing any doubling in LIBERTY, and I would expect to see some if there was hub doubling in the date.

    Keep up the hunt!

If it is not doubled, it would go against everything I have learned about doubling...and that is look for the separation lines. Would this be a class IV?

I can see what you are seeing, but the issue is that there is a light reflection/glare effect right where I would expect there to be notching/separation. It may require additional photos.
And as I said before, if this were indeed a doubled die, it would show on areas besides the date. And I am not seeing it anywhere else.

Both of your blown-up pics are from the original overall pic. Take pics from different angles.

yep, Simon was right, scanned it in at another angle, and the lines are gone. Thanks

Guess that settles it. Don't worry, they're out there.

    Keep up the hunt!

Non Cents, I think you should change your motto from " Keep up the hunt !" to "Killing Dreams Since 2011"

    :D
