1988 1C 006 or 005 reverse?

    This is a tough one. You can see where I pointed out the serif and the straight leg of a 006 type G. Its low and close to the steps also. Any takers on this one?:scratch: 1988 1c Trans E.jpg 1988 1c date.jpg

    Looks like an 005.​

    Sorry, but from here it looks like the normal '88 reverse. The '89 reverse has broader "G" with a serif. The shapes of the "G's" are analogous to the "6's" on the '60 lg and small dates. If the upper end of the "G" is above the vertical bar, its the "88" reverse, and if the upper end is short of the upright bar its an "89" reverse.
