I have found this 1980 dime and its giving me a hard time due to lack of experience. "In god with trust" The D shows a little bit on the top right but I can be mistaken but I do not see any listeng of any ddo for a 1980 D WIN_20240720_16_02_05_Pro.jpg WIN_20240720_16_05_21_Pro.jpg aken. Is it Machine doubling or a Worn die issue? (I say MD).

A true Doubled Die coin would normally have the same height because when made on the same coin planchet would be very close to the same height. This 1955/55 cent photos show it. Doubled dies are limited as there are inspectors who sample the coins regularly ( or at least that is what the mints say). Notice that they at or very close to the same height, especially the 9 and 5 that appear to blend together. Jim
