Found this in a roll last night. DDO or extreme machine doubling?

There is a 1980 DDO variety but it doesn't look like yours.

Interesting find. I'm not much of an error collector. Can't find my guide to Lincoln Cent varities either....

Yeah, I know. I've already checked Coppercoins.com and CONECA. I have the RPM guides for Lincoln Cents, but no variety guide...yet. Thanks for takin' a look.

    It looks like strike doubling.

My guess is mechanical because of the "smeared" look. A DDO would be more rounded.

It looks like part of "America" on the reverse is also doubled.

It Is mechanical doubling. There is a nice 1980 DDO but it does not look like this. The doubling here on this coin is a result of metal being moved around. It is flat and shelflike.

    Thanks,
    Bill

Thanks again y'all. Figured it was, just wanted a few more sets of eyes to confirm.
