1972 steel penny

    i found a 1972 steel penny ,i can pick it up with a magnet.any info on it tks

    Can you post a photo and also weigh it?

    It might be plated.

    It depends on what it's plated with.
    If it's plated with steel it can. ;)

    weight is abt 2.8 grams regular penney weight was 2.05 grams

    Regular 1972 lincoln is 3.11 grams not 2 .05

    Pictures or your Doubled Die does not exist..

    The correct numismatic terminology is Doubled Die.. not double die.
