I recently watched a YouTube video about 2 varieties concerning the FG initials on the reverse of a 1960 Lincoln cent. I was checking my change and came across this. I have never seen this configuration on any Lincoln cent. So I am posting this here and welcoming opinions. This is a 1960 LC reverse. What do you think is going on here? (This coin is pretty beat up ,but that wouldn't have caused this.)
First things first. Welcome aboard The CT Train and hope you enjoy the ride. This is PMD, post mint damage of a serious nature. This coin took a lot of punishment, as in 'road rash', run over by many vehicles or some other form of damage. Not an error or variety, sorry.
Welcome aboard ! Unfortunately the pic too blurry to see . If you need some help with pics , just ask .
I would be happy to post full size photos front and back. I made this as small of a size as i could since this is my first thread. I wasn't sure what the limit was .
Again I was merely trying to make the file as small as possible so I wouldn't go over any size restrictions the site may have.
Make it as big as you want and don't forget to click the "Full size" feature at the bottom of the box.
The software here will adjust the size for you. You can post images just the way they come off the camera. That's a good thing.
