    It's die deterioration.

    It's hard to tell, but it looks like it could be DDD or MD. There almost has to be notches for it to be a DDR...

    Nope, Not a doubled die.

    Not all doubling is the fault of a doubled die. Most if not all of the appearance of doubling seen on nickels is due to die deterioration.

    I do concur with the individuals that said Die Deterioration doubling very good smart people on this forum that know what there talking about glad i'm a member.
