1955 doubled die experience

    If its real. wow 8-10K yikes. Can you afford that amount ? Dream coin for me. still dreaming. After my credit card is paid off I will get a MS 1972 DDO for sure in the $500-600 range.

    One of the advantages of being old is that the prices were much less then :)

    I bought these 2 from Bowers and Merena in the mid 70s with summer school teaching money. The coins were from a group of 10 they had available as I remember and raw. I sent a lesser one back and traded it. Now I wish I had took a loan and bought more, the price was extremely Fair. Eventually I sent them in to be slabbed. Jim
