I got the quarter below today and am pretty sure it is a DDO but I can't attribute it. Thought I would put it out to see if anyone has insights. It is the obverse die variety -005 so the lettering should be thick, but this one seems to have excessively thick lettering, especially the "RUS" in "IN GOD WE TRUST". The designer's initials appear to be excessively thick as well and there may be a slight extra thickness on the last three numbers in the date. What appears to be machine doubling in some of the pictures is just a trick of the light - all of the lettering is very well struck and thus the edges of the lettering reflect light. There is a die chip on the eagle's face and a light, intermittent die crack on the eagle's right (our left) wing on the reverse. It may just be a very early die state on the obverse, but here are some pictures.

BTW, also got my fourth Huge "D" 1952 quarter (VG/G) and a 1941 Large "S" quarter (F).

Thanks in advance for any insights.
