1943 Cent

    Does these coins look like they're been cleaned? Its on Ebay

    I wanted to buy 1943 cents just to have.

    Good morning,

    It's impossible to determine whether or not the coins have been cleaned based on the pictures.
    With these coins (zinc coated steele cents), the question, more often than not, is whether or not they have been replated, as the zinc plating often oxidizes and replating them makes them more saleable.

    I would caution against bidding on auctions that are listed as "NO RETURNS".
    Also, $3.00 to ship two pennies is a bit much, especially when the S&H exceeds the value of the coins.

    Thanks, think I'll pass. I'm planning on attending a coin show this saturday, maybe I can pick up some stuff there.

    Good choice. Im sure you will be able to pick up a '43 at the show for a fraction of the cost of this auction.
