    I’m still searching for a 42s. The date and mint mark are readable so it’d be a keeper for me filling a hole til something better came along. I wouldn’t spend it or melt it. Maybe some hand sanitizer to remove the surface dirt but that’s it. Heck, Its 77 years young!!! Nice find.

    The only 42-S I ever got was in a Coin Star. I don't even care if it's AG-03.

    If for some unknown reason silver should skyrocket, these will be worth some bucks.
