Hi guys, I have this 1883 O Morgan I'm looking to check on before I sell it. I have trouble distinguishing which reverse I have, but I think this is it. If someone needs more let me know.

Is this correct you think? I looked through a lot of them and this is the closest I've got. http://www.vamworld.com/wiki/1883-O_VAM-25

thanks and have a good day

Not sure I see the doubling on the inside loop of the 3, but O is left.

The O is left? I don't have good judgement of straightness of things. Take that as you will. I thought it was slightly right if anything at first, I think it's just because it's an oval. Shapes man, can't do them.

I was looking at the knot in the ribbon, but it looks centered relative to the D and O in DOLLAR.

I haven't spent too much time in the VAM listings, but there are a ton of them. It's like figuring out RPMs for 60s Lincoln Cents.

I was imagining a straight line sticking out of the top of the mintmark, I guess.
I did a test by laying a straight line through but i just confused myself

Yeah 1883 O has more VAM listings than any Morgan, if I am not mistaken

They say their "3 [is] doubled slightly at bottom left inside of lower loop." Whatever that means, there's strike doubling all over that date, to one degree or another. Not sure what irregularity they're seeing, there, but quite sure it could be articulated a little better.

It does have some rim scuffing on the reverse which I assumed kept it from 63. Something I didn't notice when I bought the coin.. It was an online purchase.

Those pictures I put make the coin a little uglier than I think it needed to be,

They have gone up in value as of late, and I'd really like to sell some smaller things to have get myself something real nice, which would be the centerpiece of my collection for the time being. A type of 10th anniversary kind of deal.

It sparkles like a diamond. I don't have to hold it to know it. That's due to the late condition of those dies.

Yep, there's an extent to which I find it attractive but I also need shift into higher gear. I'm really trying to kind of swap my way to the top if that makes sense. I am truly addicted

Yeah, this could get habit-forming... :)

Nothing I would rather do than this. Will do whatever it takes to work in this field, it truly is incredible.
