My best find of this series and probably always will be. Prior owner has certainly cleaned it which is too bad because an amazing coin. The obverse demonstrates the major flowlines and the reverse is always easy to stop. I tell anybody who sees an 1838 to look at the reverse because if you see that broken N and T you have either a lds of N-11, N-15, or N-16 and the last 2 are rare and easy to tell apart from the common N-11.
