12 caesars

Hello CT,

Happy to tell everybody I'm now the proud owner of a complete set of 12 caesars. Not in just one metal, be it silver or bronze, but nevermind, it's been hard time to put them all together

Beware the Ides of March!!!! "Et Tu Brute" Nice collection ...Just purchased my first ancient its on its way here as I type. I posted it a few days ago. Are your coins from purchases , or did you find them ? Very nice group congrats! Paddy:hail:

They all come from purchases, of course, I'm not a detectorist, jus a collector :crying:
Sources are coinshows, internet buys (Vcoins mainly), auctions, other collectors sometimes.
The first one of this series (Claudius middle bronze) was bought in 1985, but this has not been by far my only focus all this time. To be honest, I dicovered the other day, while receiving my Vitellius denarius in the mail, that the 12 Caesars were finally all together :whistle::whistle:
