Yes they are professionals. But, if one's goal is to authenticate and grade the coins to sell then the reality of the market is that NGC and PCGS...

Looking at the sellers feedback I don't see any red flags (I don't mean China's flag). I wonder if the seller knowingly knew it was fake.

I'm guessing the lighting used when taking the picture has a lot to do with the darkness; especially considering the luster left.

It all depends on how MS you want. You probably can get a 40's walker in MS 63 for under $40; possibly a 64.
