It is an ugly coin, but maybe I'll put it in a2 X 2.
Hadn 't noticed the nose.
I agree that some of the letters look doubled. But, I'm not expert enough to comment more. I like that you posted the pictures.
Yep. I'm just interested in how it changed Lincoln's lips and smile.
Probably PMD, but I find Lincoln's smile on this coin interesting.
Very nice coin. Makes my 1921 look really bad. There are no 21Ds.
Looks like it was run over in a parking lot!
I noticed the discoloring at the Y, also. Still, a very nice '26.
Do you think somebody decided to recirculate part of his or her collection?
Good catch. thanks for sharing.
nope. I'm interested in more experienced replies.
Thanks for reminding me to check my 53Ds again.
I put away a cent which I think is a 1973 DDO-001
A friend gave me a small box full of his father's coins. Nothing spectacular but some decent Indians and Wheaties. But, I appreciated the gift.
Hope you were wearing your mask in the convenience store.
Nevertheless a very nice specimen of a coin that is 79 years old. The year of my birth, btw.
Thanks for the feed back on my cent. Does almost look like doubled die, doesn't it?
I can't find any reference to a 1994D doubled die. So, what am I to make of the D on this coin?
Separate names with a comma.
