Your avatar is nicer than mine but I did find mine with a metal detector. Happy Holidays.
I do remember and I had to buy a couple rolls from each mint. Banks used to have the uncirculated coin rolls all the time.
Cool one. You never know what you'll find in a roll of coins.
I think finding coins is the real joy of collecting. I would have trouble
at a fast paced register job because I would be constantly thinking...
Found a 1901 Indian Head yesterday.
Thanks So Much Cheech and Lord Marcoven for your generosity to collectors here on Coin Talk.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to...
Europeans have all the luck, Great finds.
Three heads are better than one.
I found a 1901 Indian Head yesterday in the neighbor's yard. I have detected that yard numerous times so it
was a surprise. Great...
I bought a 1948 edition of The Red Book for a quarter at a book sale.
Lucky stiff. Good Job!
How cool is that? Very cool indeed.
Nice that you do that for the less fortunate. Fantastic Find too!
Cool if you found it in change though. I have a JFK 50 cent piece given to me by a Secret Santa at work.
I served at Yokota AB in Tokyo. Would love to see one from there. Nice coin from Kadena BTW.
I collect a few things. Coins are number 1. Lately I am getting a lot of Ephemera.
I found a 1909 VDB Lincoln in a coin spill that contained 6 coins dated from 1909 to 1916. Also contained 1907 Barber Dime.
I second that.
I would have to say it is a counterfeit. Too low. Visible though - 1909 isn't so bad anyway. I did find a 1909 VDB with
my medical detector...
Have not metal detected yet this year. I hope to get a couple days at a good prospect I have permission to do.
