Howdy Pismo - Welcome to the Forum !! To answer your question - no. In '76 they issued 11,000,000 silver clad business strike Kennedy half...
Ahhhhh - to that I might agree. I was merely referring to the original question - largest circulating coin of the 20th century.

Yeah they are, the crowns are 40 mm. But there are bigger coins - 42 - 43 mm. Of course I suppose it depends on how you want to define bigger. I...
As for grade I'd agree with the XF - probably 45. The date, I wouldn't say it's a problem, but it does look like a recut date 87/87.
Congrats Charlie :thumb: You got a good eye - keep on grading like you have been and don't change ;)
I stand by my original estimate - I have circled the areas of concern.
What date & mint ?
I believe he was talking about the '99-W business strike AGE. Although I think he paid too much, you couldn't touch it for $200. $500 - maybe.
Not even close, both are well under 40 mm.
Certainly one of the nicest I've seen. You don't find lion dollars like that very often
Even if it did grade MS63 value would still be about $25 - $30. If AU - $20 - $25.
I do.

Most of the world's crown sized coins, including the 5 peso, were about 40mm. There was one or two that was 42 mm if memory serves. I'm gonna...
Both great looking coins !! But now for the question that really matters - does your wife know ?? :D
You can find that and a whole lot more if you take the time to explore all the links here - Counterfeits
Yes you can - however none of the 3 are the same person.
In my opinion, the grading fee for each of these coins would be more than the coin is worth.
Before deciding, post some pics of the coins as it may not be worth risking the money to have them graded.
