I'm leaning to O-110 on the half, note how the base of the A in STATES fits with the T's on either side. Not that it matters, a common variety...
Nice coins. Generally sets are sold individually to maximize value. Would it be easy to get reverse pictures? Some here could check the die...

Yes he is reputed to know his stuff. On the other hand, the "grades" he puts on his slabs are worse than useless.
+1 First impression is fake. Edit: Can you weigh it? The surfaces have the look of a chinese fake to me. The lettering and denticals look iffy too.
I imagine it was white when slabbed, I think the color gained has added to the eye appeal. I'll guess gold sticker.

An approach some older guys I know take is to assign an appropriately lower grade and go off that price. Light cleaning? Drop it one grade....
I'd grade it a VF+. I think Michael K's estimate is in the ballpark.

Can't really tell from the picture, but if the 1880 truely is a nice UNC, I'd say you did well.
