Yes. That is one of the things I'm trying to get used to. A big bagmark on the cheek of a Morgan is not a serious as the same type of mark on a dime.
Thanks. I really do wish those books had better pictures though. And by the way, I know there was a really great thread on this subject a few days...
I knew that was your point. You and I are on the same page on this one Richie.
I'm trying to learn to grade Mercs. I've been looking at pics and looking them up in the ANA grading book and Photograde. I think experience is...
That makes sense. :)
Yeah, I know what you mean. There is absolutely no point in changing the face value of a bullion coin. And I don't see why anyone cares.

Oh, thats good. And thanks for the contest.
Had to go way back for this one: http://www.cointalk.org/showthread.php?t=16712 Edit: The link doesn't seem to be working though.
Collecting New Orleans Morgans is something I have thought about too. I have too many other projects going on right now though. I see no reason to...
Looking for an old pro for this one.... I found this post on "Looking for an old pro for this one...." interesting and have nominated it...
I'm starting a Merc collection myself, so I really need to learn to grade them too. Good thread. I think I'll second that nomination.
Lol!
